Following yesterday’s early reveal of the Scirocco R, we now have more details and a full gallery of the hot hatch.

Unfortunately, despite early reports, the Roc R will be FWD. This means that 100 kph comes up in a more leisurely 6.5 seconds, rather than the predicted sub-6 times. This also makes the price somewhat hard to swallow but will undoubtedly reap rewards in the avoirdupois category, and thus, the corners.

I suppose none of this really matters though because if you live in Canada, you still can’t have one.
