Well our boys from Top Gear America have made it to CWS Tuning in Regina. The trip was far from easy thanks to some blown gaskets and leaking radiator. Unfortunately, that was still the easiest part. Now they have to do the engine and tranny swap; a complicated project that could only be accomplished by a true mechanic, not just a tech who does oil changes at Jiffy Lube. With projects like putting a Supra Turbo engine into a BMW 535i and squishing a Cadillac Northstar V8 into a VW Golf, Cam Waugh is a true mechanic. He’s also a one-of-a-kind gem that has undoubtedly read the book that I am currently working on: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. This book probably won’t turn you into a Cam Waugh but it will certainly shed light on the method behind Mr. Waigh’s apparent madness.
