The apple iPhone app store already has an app for just about everything, but these guys have found a new niche. By affixing a bunch of technological wizardry to a car, they have created a system by which one can drive said car using an iPhone. More info after the jump.

The group of German researchers who obviously aren’t busy making sports cars that made this claim that they are creating a utopian horrible future in which cars are not driven by the occupants. I couldn’t possibly like anybody who claims that the future is a white dodge caravan with an IBM decal and some scaffolding glued to the top. If that thing is the future, I want to be the Neo-Amish man driving about in the last Ferrari. Check out the video on the BBC.
