Somewhere in Russia, a field of cars sleeps. Until night falls. Then the cars light up with ghostly memories of bygone eras. Those memories warm their rusting hearts and they emit a glow reminiscent of something oddly welcoming but only slightly less creepy than Stephen King’s “Christine.”
Or maybe it’s just a Russian photographer Ilya Varlamov who snaps these awesomely lit night scenes. While everything about him is in Russian, you immediately get the idea he is hugely accomplished with a camera. Indeed, it’s hard to imagine the former USSR this bright and shiny.
Varlamov has been to this site before and captured the resting cars in daylight. Check those photos out here: Автомузей Красинца
